Dad’s Day 2020

We thank each and everyone who contributed towards making dads feel special in this covid time of this tourist & wine making town’s closure of businesses for many months where no one could work to support their families. Some of them are single dads doing a moms job.

We thought…we never spoil the destitute dads and knowing how they feel about not being able to provide for their families…. what if we gave or made them a meal, handed them a cooldrink and perhaps a small choc or similar with the mug. Just strictly for them. Just for once to let then know we care.

We entertained them with some treats and eats plus a food hamper and spoils to take home to their families.

It was so lovely we had a good time and met super dads from all walks which included sommeliers, chefs, tourist artists & tradesman.

We would have loved to spoil more dads.

A lovely day was had by all.

We were blessed with 30 Hungry Lion meals.

Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages is spoiling the family parcel with a 2lt Coke each as well as Coke to serve with lunch.

And more… we received a consignment of large tubs of mens skin lotion plus disposable shavers as arranged / supplied by

Gay-Josephs Klein.

Our trusty supporter Janene Levy Nates is giving us 30 brand new branded DAD mugs with a soap.

Thanks to Oakland Dairies we will also be including fresh milk in our food parcels.

Thanks to Shoprite South Africa for some treats.

God wanted us to bless these Dads. We are so grateful.

Some dads are the only parent. So our Dads will be spoilt this month too. We thought why not! Lets show 30 of them they are as important to us. Thanks to each of them who endured difficult times as head of the family
