Ellen Pakkies Women’s Day 2019
Montagu is also plagued by social ills like gender based violence, bullying and drug abuse, like many other parts of our country. To try and change mindsets and create a dialogue around these issues, RAM in association with 1000 Women 1 Voice decided to make a day of it, and screen the movie based on Ellen Pakkies' life story, combined with a talk by Ellen Pakkies herself to bring awareness and to open the conversation about these issues. There were discreet counselling services on site and food and spoils to make the day a success.
Drought Relief Project – Oudtshoorn 2019
Much-needed water, fodder, and groceries was delivered to a drought-stricken farming community in Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo. A fellow non-profit organisation, South African Water Warriors, initiated and distributed the donations received from our fellow South Africans. Blessings showered over Oudtshoorn, with many angels restoring hope, love, and life to our animals, farmers, and workers.
Mandela Day 2019
Check out some of our amazing projects that we implemented for Mandela Day 2019. Thank you to all those who contributed to ensure the day was a success. So many schools, people, and even our furry friends were touched by your generous donations and support in ensuring a better tomorrow for them.
Youth Day June 2019
Youth Day gifting on the 17th of June 2019 in Montagu - hosted at W.A. Rossouw Primary School. Thank you to Principal Adams and staff for giving us the honor of putting smiles on the faces of the children.
We built and furnished a small sick room for a rural school in Montagu. Every sick child needs a safe place to recover, the distance to go home for these rural kids is vast - often walked by them on foot.
RAM’s 8th Birthday Celebrations – May 2019
What an amazing day RAM - Rescue Among Many had in Ashbury, Montagu on 25 May 2019. A deserving mother and her 12 year old son received the keys to their own little nutec home, Spasina's home-church was unveiled in Seder Avenue, and we closed off the day with cocktails to celebrate our 8th birthday and the day's successes.

We are so taken a back at how much we received for our annual mid-January food parcel event. What a spectacular time we had! Best Juices/Yogurts/Milk/Cheese, Cold meats, Coke, Sweets, Toys as most did not have a Christmas party this year.
SOS for food at ECD responded to!
We received an SOS call from one of the créches (ECD's) that we support in Montagu who needed food urgently in early January 2019. 103 children affected. Thank you to the owner of IMAGINE CRUISING SA, IMAGINE CRUISING UK and IMAGINE HOLIDAYS who responded immediately with the amount of R20 000 paid over for this school's food needs that will last them for a period of time.
Mandela Day 2018 – 4 days in the life of RAM
Read Karolien Maré de Kock's first-hand experience of when she joined Carol Bruton and hubby Stephen on their journey to spread some joy and love for the Mandela Day cause in July 2018. 67 minutes became 4 days spent away from home, planned months in advance. Four days of traveling from one needy group to the other serving them with love and integrity.
January 2018 Event – shoes and food blessings and more…
Our mid January month delivery proved to be powered by blessings. January is known as the month with 45 days, as our rural folk struggle to survive after Christmas.
As we prepared to deliver school shoes & food parcels, this day turned into so much more as we received donations and blessings poured in.
